Every two years the Washington State Democrats have a State Convention.  Why are we holding LD Caucuses? To elect delegates and alternates to

attend the 2018 State Convention. Delegates will be the voting body of the convention and vote on final passage of proposed platform and resolutions. Why are we holding County Conventions? To craft and ratify local county platforms and resolutions. To draft platform language, resolutions, and adjust Platform planks to share with the State Platform Committee.  Why are we holding a state convention? To finalize and ratify the platform for 2018-2020.  But really, why are we doing all this work? The convention cycle is your local organization and the state party’s biggest opportunity to gain feedback from the community on our values and members into out organizations.  This is our time to organize and recruit leaders of tomorrow into the party and This is THE GRASSROOTS! The State Convention this year is June 15th & 16th in Wenatchee.
