Fellow Democrats;
It is that time of the year once again! Time for us to celebrate our 43rd annual “Give ’em Hell Harry Dinner & Auction.” We want you to join us for our yearly celebration and fundraising effort where proceeds are put to work electing and re-electing our outstanding Democratic candidates in Cowlitz County. This year’s auction will be held on Friday June 1st, 2018, at the Cowlitz County Regional Conference Center. This year’s theme is “Partnerships in Labor” and we will kick-off at 5:00 p.m. with our silent auction and social hour. Dinner will be served at 6:30p.m., followed by our live auction.

Join us! This year your tickets are $50 per person or you can reserve a table for 8 for $400. Purchase your tickets early! This will allow us to plan how much fantastic food and drinks to have available for you. (Please let us know if you or your guests have any special dietary needs.)

Donate auction items! We are excited to share the evening with you at the event this year. We are requesting auction item donations. These items can be something traditional or fun and different like products, adventures or experiences!

Partner with us! You can make a monetary donation to sponsor “Give ’em Hell Harry.” Your donations get Democrats elected in Cowlitz County. Choose one of three different levels of Partnership: 

Friends of Dems – $50 to $399

Sponsors of Change – $400 to $799

Champions of Change – $800 +

To purchase tickets, arrange the donation of auction items, and make your monetary contributions please contact our local party Treasurer Melissa Thompson at (253) 9707339 or make a payment online at www.cowlitz.wa-democrats.net. We thank you for your partnership and generous support! Graciously yours,
The 2018 Give ‘em Hell Harry Committee

Every two years the Washington State Democrats have a State Convention.  Why are we holding LD Caucuses? To elect delegates and alternates to

attend the 2018 State Convention. Delegates will be the voting body of the convention and vote on final passage of proposed platform and resolutions. Why are we holding County Conventions? To craft and ratify local county platforms and resolutions. To draft platform language, resolutions, and adjust Platform planks to share with the State Platform Committee.  Why are we holding a state convention? To finalize and ratify the platform for 2018-2020.  But really, why are we doing all this work? The convention cycle is your local organization and the state party’s biggest opportunity to gain feedback from the community on our values and members into out organizations.  This is our time to organize and recruit leaders of tomorrow into the party and This is THE GRASSROOTS!
